1. About LiveSeek

LiveSeek is a platform for discovering and promoting live music events at grassroots venues across the UK. These terms govern your use of liveseek.co.uk and associated services.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person or organisation. Do not create duplicate accounts.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Content you post

By posting content on LiveSeek (gig listings, photos, profile information), you agree that:

• You own or have the right to use the content you post.
• Your content is accurate and not misleading.
• Your content does not infringe any third party's rights.
• You grant LiveSeek a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the platform.
• You can remove your content at any time via your dashboard.

4. Prohibited content

You must not post content that:

• Is false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading
• Is offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or hateful
• Promotes illegal activities
• Infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Contains spam, advertising, or promotional material unrelated to live music
• Impersonates another person, band, or venue

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

5. Gig listings

• Gig listings must be for real, upcoming events at real venues in the UK.
• Do not post duplicate listings for the same event.
• Gigs are automatically archived 48 hours after the event date.
• We may remove gig listings that receive multiple reports from users.

6. Reporting

Users can report gig listings they believe are fake, duplicate, or contain inappropriate content. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or suspending accounts. Do not abuse the reporting system.

7. Premium accounts

Premium features (when available) include ad removal, unlimited photos, and historical gig timelines. Premium status is currently managed by LiveSeek administrators. We reserve the right to modify premium features at any time.

8. Advertisements

Non-premium users may see advertisements on the platform. These ads are served by third-party providers and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Limitation of liability

LiveSeek is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of gig listings posted by users
• Cancellations or changes to events listed on the platform
• Any loss or damage arising from your use of the service
• The content or practices of third-party services linked from the platform

10. Intellectual property

The LiveSeek name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without permission. User-generated content remains the property of the user who posted it.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your profile and associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
